This page comprises unabridged descriptive catalogs of a handful of elite manuscript libraries. The search can be carried out with one word from the manuscript’s title, author’s name, opening, subject, or classification number.

It is recommended to leave out “Çá” when entering the title and author’s name, as well as words like “Abū” and “Ibn” to limit the search scope.

The available catalogs are Catalog of Rifā‘a al-Tahtāwiy Library (1800 manuscripts), Catalog of Scientific Manuscripts of the Alexandria Municipal Library (470 manuscripts), Catalog of Shibin al-Kum Manuscripts (350 manuscripts), Catalog of Jurisprudential Manuscripts in Abūl-‘Abbās Mosque (800 manuscripts), Catalog of Dar al-Kutub Manuscripts in Tanta (447 manuscripts), and Catalog of the Religious Institute of Smūha (204 manuscripts).
